What a phenomenal Opening Day for our newest Certified Farmers' Market! At the Nut Tree Certified Farmers' Market we had lots of people buying amazing tomatoes, melons, peaches, apples, peppers, nectarines, carrots, Olive oil, soap, lotions, jams, wild greens and chicken along with great music! And the best part was that all of it came from within a 20 mile radius of the Market. No farm traveled farther than thirteen miles in bringing their community the freshest local produce anyone can get their hands on. It was truly a success.   None of which would have been possible without the support of my family and my community, Vacaville, CA. Nor would it be possible without the devoted dedication of the Family Farmers who work everyday to nourish us all. Thank you so much for your support! I look forward to gathering together every Wednesday through November, in the name of real food and good friends at the Nut Tree Certified Farmers' Market.
